If your claim against a faculty member is for discrimination or discriminatory harassment, you have options, both informal and formal, for dealing with your concerns. You may pursue informal means instead of or before making a formal complaint. If an informal procedure is ineffective, the formal procedures remain open to you. If your claim is not for discrimination or discriminatory harassment, you may pursue the informal procedures outlined below.

This policy applies to all Washington University students who are admitted to the hospital for treatment while enrolled in classes at the University, including admissions for physical and mental health-related concerns.

The Danforth Campus Facilities Access Policy below sets forth the minimum requirements for reservation and use of Danforth Campus facilities, including facilities and spaces that are overseen by the individual Schools or other university Departments. 

This statement on academic integrity applies to all undergraduate students at WashU. Graduate students are governed by policies in each graduate school or division. All students are expected to adhere to the highest standards of behavior.

The University Student Conduct Code sets forth community standards and expectations for WashU students. These community standards and expectations are intended to foster an environment conducive to learning and inquiry.

All incoming students must provide proof of immunization for a handful of serious diseases. As of July 1, 2023, COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required, though it is strongly recommended along with an annual flu vaccine for all students.

In an effort to provide a healthy, comfortable and productive work and learning environment for students, faculty and staff, all Washington University in St. Louis campuses are entirely smoke and tobacco free.

Washington University in St. Louis does not discriminate based on sex in any of our educational programs or activities. Sexual harassment, a form of sex discrimination, is also prohibited in accordance with Title IX.

WashU departments, schools or Student Union-recognized organizations can use our table top displays to promote an activity or event at WashU to the campus audience. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
