Sam Fox School

From printmaking, bookbinding, and ceramics to textiles, 3D fabrication, and woodworking, the Sam Fox School has studios, shops, and makerspaces for students to create and refine their work.

McKelvey School of Engineering

The McKelvey School of Engineering Student Machine Shops provide students with the training and opportunity to learn and practice hands-on manufacturing techniques in a safe and supervised environment.

The Spartan Light Metal Products Makerspace includes a studio and an advanced machine shop where WashU students, faculty, and staff can turn designs into prototypes.

Harvey Media Center

The Angel and Paul Harvey Media Center is a state-of-the-art media facility established to educate and empower the WashU community to tell their stories through media.

WashU Tech Den

The WashU Tech Den operates a 3D printing service with several printers. The service is designed for nonresidential and graduate students and can be used for personal or school projects.

Medical spaces

Neurotech Hub

The mission of the Neurotech Hub is to accelerate progress in neuroscience by providing cutting-edge technical services on demand, and by seeking, testing, and deploying paradigm-shifting or bespoke technologies.

Medical 3D Printing Center

The Medical 3D Printing Center at WashU Medical Campus has three 3D printers capable of producing medical/surgical modeling (via direct CT image modeling), prosthetic forearms (including hands) that are robotically operated, research equipment, and custom parts for research.

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology 3-D Printing Lab

The 3D Printing Lab at MIR offers unique research and educational experiences in using 3D Visualization, 3D modeling, and 3D printing technologies for multiple medical and surgical applications.
