Faculty Consulting Privileges
In common with most academic institutions, WashU permits faculty members in most of its schools to engage in a reasonable amount of external professional activity that may be compensated from external sources.

The Board of Directors of the Faculty Practice Plan and the Executive Faculty of WashU Medicine maintain a set of policies, procedures and guidelines related to the clinical practice.
Contracts and Subagreements
Federal and foundation grants and contracts, industry supported research agreements, clinical trial agreements, and service agreements, incoming and outgoing subawards
Consulting Agreements
In addition to licenses and Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), WashU Office of Technology Management also handles other agreements in its promotion of technology transfer including confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs) and Inter-institutional Agreements (IIAs). WashU does not participate in consulting agreements.
