Making a difference in the community

Through the Campus Y, more than 400 students participate in 23 student-led and student-run community service programs. Also, WashU Serves is a year-round volunteer initiative connecting students, faculty and staff with opportunities to bolster the St. Louis region.

Graduate and professional students 

support community organizations through practica and clinics connected to their degree programs, including law, social work, medicine and physical therapy. They receive practical hands-on learning while simultaneously increasing the capacity of local, national and international organizations.
